Eurosport needed to make the British sporting public take notice of the launch of their Player streaming service launch, tell UK sports fans  that they had access to all sports, at every level, and… make it more accessible to females too.

Eurosport are a sports broadcasting institution in Europe, but don’t have the cultural resonance that Sky or even BT Sport/TNT do in The UK.

They are seen as a second tier sports channel – the place where you see the obscure sports which don’t command great enthusiasm. However, this couldn’t be more wrong.

In Europe, Eurosport has access to all the top football leagues from the Bundesliga to Ligue 1, and covers the major tennis tournaments like the Roland Garros and Wimbledon as well as the Tour De France, but the UK sports audience didn’t know that.
